It seems like there are more obscure nature parks in Florida than anywhere in the US.  There are natural areas tucked away in subdivisions that most people have never heard of, less visited.  These areas are devoid of people but rich in wildlife.  Most Floridians have never even been to the Everglades, an area where people come from all over the world to visit.  All Florida natural areas are very subtle, no giant rock formations, just flat grassy or dense stands of forest.  You have to sit and let nature unfold in front of you...Patience is the Key !
